EKITI STATE PERFORMING ARTS (ESPAC) COMPANY CONTINUES TO PROMOTE RECREATION AND LEISURE THROUGH ITS SUNDAY-SUNDAY VARIETY SHOWS

Ekiti State Ministry of Arts, Culture and Tourism has resumed its bi-monthly live variety shows with the view to promoting leisure, recreation and quality health.

The State Commissioner for Arts Culture and Tourism, Prof. Rasaki Ojo Bakare during the first run of the show in Ado Ekiti earlier explained that the show was organized as a platform to promote budding talents and upcoming artistes, adding that the show would feature various performances such as rib-cracking dramas, stand-up comedies, dances, hip hop and choral music, exciting circus shows among others.

Prof. Bakare during the second run of the show at the Obafemi Awolowo Civic and Conventional Center, Ado Ekiti explained that the show would continue to come up between the hour of 4pm and 7pm every second and last Sunday of the month. He added that the aim is to enliven the State and make it attractive to visitors.

Prof Bakare therefore solicits the support of well-to-do people of the State to kindly assist in being the patrons, promoters, marketers and conversers of bi-monthly show to ensure sustaining same.

Professor Bakare, who urged Ekiti people to create time for relaxation, invited them to come with their family and friends to the bi-monthly family-friendly show. The next edition of the show is billed to hold on Sunday 31st of July at the Obafemi Awolowo Civic Center, Fajuyi Area, Ado-Ekiti between 4-7pm. Tickets are available at the Fajuyi Memorial Park, Fabian Hotel, Fountain Hotel and the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Tourism for just a token of #500.
